Rooting through the basement, hidden behind our christmas decorations, I discovered a box full of pictures. I found this one. Remember my british grandmother I mentioned earlier? Her name was Edna. This is a picture of her on her wedding day. She modeled for Avon at one point in her life. Very strong woman. She died of a brain tumor in 1998.

My buddy Griffin in the kitchen, preparing a coffee-banana milkshake during our break from recording a soundtrack for the film "Profile."

Not to sound corny, but the sound of my mother laughing is one of my favorite things in the world. This is her after reading a fairly hilarious card from us (the kids). Happy Valentine's Day.

The things you'll find at the home of an "art major."
She's never really been a subtle person. I wonder what's on the menu at this particular supper?

Day two of not taking a picture. I like this scanning idea. Here is a picture of my great-grandfather. Hope this will suffice. He was an actor, and starred in several silent films in his younger years, including that Valentino flick: "The Sheik." He also taught Greta Garbo how to dance.
He met my great-grandmother and left Hollywood. I feel fortunate and angry about this fact.

Clearly I didn't take this picture. To be honest, I forgot to take one today, so I scanned this one instead. This is a picture of my grandfather, somewhere around my age. If you like my sweaters/scarves/shoes/outlook on life, you have him to thank.
He was a detective for Hamilton County for nearly 50 years, and was happily married to my British grandmother for 30 years until her death in the late 90's.
He passed away last October, leaving behind 2 daughters, a son, several in-laws, and 4 grandchildren that miss him very much.

After several days of computer issues, I have finally returned!
This kid may look innocent, but trust me, behind those eyes rests pure evil.

Recreating an old picture. The sunlight stays the same. There is something comforting about knowing that. as long as the sun still shines, I can take this picture each day.
