03-16-2012

Sad news: They can't keep those fishies. Gotta throw 'em back. Them's park rules. Dummies.

03-15-2012

My little bro and sis. She's sweet, and he's sour. This ain't 'Top Gun' Brayden.

03-14-2012

The usual suspects.

03-13-2012

There's a dead flower on my pillow. How deep.

03-12-2012

The innards of our fried computer.

03-11-2012

Baby Grandpa

03-10-2012

Grandpa and Grandma Taylor on their wedding day.

03-09-2012

The guitars still feel the sadness.

03-08-2012

A return to the madness that is the "Profile" soundtrack.

03-07-2012

I envy the bearded. That's right Ben, I'm talking to you.

03-06-2012

A lack of real camera forced me to take a picture with my laptop...

Spending time with Sarah and my little brother in hopes of detoxing from the loss of music.

03-05-2012

Still scrambling to re-record.

03-04-2012

Ditto.

03-03-2012

I didn't take a picture this day. Still recovering from losing 3 months worth of work.

03-02-2012

The day the music died.

This is Griffin. We write music that occasionally disappears. Why do hard-drives want to hurt us? Why?

03-01-2012

Working on the soundtrack to "Profile". Little did we know that this would be the last night we would hear most of the tracks, because the next day was...

02-29-2012

My older sister, Amanda, and her mutant boyfriend, Dan. She is actually a really sweet person, and he is nearly 7 feet tall.

I love her.

02-28-2012

This is my girlfriend's room.

Luckily for me, the sign above her door is only for show.

02-27-2012

This is my Grandparent's grave. We have yet to put the year of death on my grandfather's tombstone. To be honest, it really bugs me.

Today would have been his 78th birthday.

02-26-2012

This is my little cousin Isabelle. Izzy for short. Today is her birthday. She likes the color green.

02-25-2012

This is the view from the kitchen window of my girlfriend's house. We were cooking breakfast for dinner. I suggest you try it sometime if you haven't.

02-24-2012

Remember that movie-star grandfather of mine. Here is a pic from the golden era of Hollywood/my great-grandfather's youth.

02-23-2012

This is my buddy Noah. Notice his dreads? He has been growing them out since his mother, Meg Halvorson, passed away.

She was my self-appointed "second mother."

I didn't argue.

02-22-2012

Finally, a nice day outside.

02-21-2012

The view from my front door.

Note: that is not a fire ( I think)

02-20-2012

Sarah.

02-19-2012

My grandfather in his army days, with a hair-style he called "duck-butt."

02-18-2012

Rooting through the basement, hidden behind our christmas decorations, I discovered a box full of pictures. I found this one. Remember my british grandmother I mentioned earlier? Her name was Edna. This is a picture of her on her wedding day. She modeled for Avon at one point in her life. Very strong woman. She died of a brain tumor in 1998.

02-17-2012

Dat ash (tray)

02-16-2012

My buddy Griffin in the kitchen, preparing a coffee-banana milkshake during our break from recording a soundtrack for the film "Profile."

02-15-2012

I'm in a mirror. How quaint.

02-14-2012

Not to sound corny, but the sound of my mother laughing is one of my favorite things in the world. This is her after reading a fairly hilarious card from us (the kids). Happy Valentine's Day.

02-13-2012

I will play anything with strings.

02-12-2012

The things you'll find at the home of an "art major."

She's never really been a subtle person. I wonder what's on the menu at this particular supper?

02-11-2012

Bottles and other glass things in the sunlight. Nothing deep or personal today.

02-10-2012

Day two of not taking a picture. I like this scanning idea. Here is a picture of my great-grandfather. Hope this will suffice. He was an actor, and starred in several silent films in his younger years, including that Valentino flick: "The Sheik." He also taught Greta Garbo how to dance.

He met my great-grandmother and left Hollywood. I feel fortunate and angry about this fact.

02-09-2012

Clearly I didn't take this picture. To be honest, I forgot to take one today, so I scanned this one instead. This is a picture of my grandfather, somewhere around my age. If you like my sweaters/scarves/shoes/outlook on life, you have him to thank.

He was a detective for Hamilton County for nearly 50 years, and was happily married to my British grandmother for 30 years until her death in the late 90's.

He passed away last October, leaving behind 2 daughters, a son, several in-laws, and 4 grandchildren that miss him very much.

02-08-2012

The sun sets as I walk down the stairs of my father's home.

02-07-2012

After several days of computer issues, I have finally returned!

This kid may look innocent, but trust me, behind those eyes rests pure evil.

02-06-2012

It's Thuy time.

02-05-2012

Hey, that's not how you play piano.

02-04-2012

Recreating an old picture. The sunlight stays the same. There is something comforting about knowing that. as long as the sun still shines, I can take this picture each day.

02-03-2012

This was an attempt to make somewhere familiar (to me) seem daunting.

02-02-2012

Never been there.

02-01-2012

I blind-side my little brother Brayden as he plays some video-game.

01-31-2012

The back yard of the abandoned house after a night of light rain. Disgusting.

01-30-2012

The sun sets on the abandoned house next door to where we record the soundtrack to "Profile."

01-29-2012

This is a weird instrument I used for a film soundtrack. Deal with it.
